What the export includes
The CSV uses one row per extracted policy. It includes the insured name, coverage type, carrier, policy number, effective and expiration dates, holder details, selected limits, and additional insured and waiver indicators. Missing values stay blank or unknown so an uncertain extraction does not become a confirmed fact.
Review before adding rows to a tracker
Check each row against the original certificate, particularly dates, policy numbers and limits. A blurry scan or unusual layout can produce extraction errors. The CSV preview is editable. Keep quoted fields intact when a value contains a comma. On export, the tool quotes fields and neutralizes formula-like text so a vendor name cannot become a spreadsheet command.
What conversion does not establish
Converting a certificate does not issue insurance, verify authenticity with the carrier, or establish that endorsement conditions are satisfied. A yes indicator is a transcription of the certificate, not an endorsement review. Preserve the original evidence and request policy documents for questions the certificate cannot answer.
Availability and privacy
The upload uses the same extraction service and daily allowance as the free certificate checker. Your file is sent to the server and AI provider for processing and is discarded rather than saved to a vendor account. If the service is unavailable or the allowance is exhausted, use the downloadable tracking template to enter policy rows manually.
